Case 17007616

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Joseph Lewis (55) was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County Pennsylvania.
Ptl. Bast was on routine patrol conducting a radar enforcement detail on Route 29. He observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed traveling north on Route 29 near Weeden Street. A motor vehicle stop was conducted with this vehicle on Bridge Street. The driver, Joseph Lewis, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County Pennsylvania. After being issued several motor vehicle summonses at headquarters, Lewis was released from custody on his own recognizance.

On 9/9/17 at 0217 hours, Hector A. Hernandez Jr. was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for speeding and failure to maintain lane, Hector A. Hernandez Jr. was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Hernandez Jr. was issued several motor vehicle summonses and a criminal complaint summons. He was later released to a family member.

Nickolas Monillas (19) was arrested on 9/2/17 at 2330 hours. for having an outstanding warrant out of Upper Freehold.
Ptl. Wurpel was on routine patrol in the area of South Main Street near Weeden Street. He conducted a motor vehicle stop with a vehicle being driven by the accused, Nickolas Monillas for maintenance of lamps. The investigation revealed that Monillas had an outstanding warrant out of Upper Freehold Twp. Monillas was subsequently released after posting bail.

Case 17007526
James Robinson (55) was arrested on 9/3/17 at 0126 hours for driving while intoxicated.
On 9/3/17 at 0126 hours, Sgt. Memolo was on routine patrol in the area of Route 179 near Mount Airy Village when he observed a vehicle that was speeding and driving erratically. A motor vehicle stop was conducted with this vehicle and the driver, James Robinson, was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. Robinson was later released in the custody of a friend.

Jill Collins (49) was arrested on 9/3/17 for being in possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 9/3/17 at 2334 hours, Lt. Brown was on routine patrol in the area of South Main Street and Feeder Street. Lt. Brown conducted a motor vehicle stop with a vehicle that was speeding and driving erratically. Further investigation revealed that the passenger of the vehicle, Jill Collins, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Collins was arrested and issued several summonses which are returnable in court.

CASE #17006581
On August 4th, 2017 at approximately 1400 hours, while on routine patrol in the area of North Main Street and Coryell Street, Sgt. Memolo observed a motor vehicle attempt to drive the wrong way on Coryell Street.

Sgt. Memolo stopped the vehicle on Coryell Street. Subsequent to investigation, the driver later identified as Elizabeth Hahn was found to have an active ATS warrant issued from the Raritan Boro (Somerset County) Municipal Court. Bail was set in the amount of $100.

Elizabeth T. Hahn, 58 YOA of Lambertville, NJ was arrested and transported to headquarters. Hahn was processed for her arrest and later released.

Sunday August 6th, 2017, a member of the Lambertville Power Boat Association reported that sometime between August 3rd and August 6th, 9 fishing poles with reels were removed from his boat, from a locked compartment. The fishing equipment was valued at $3,841.55. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lambertville Police Department. Patrolman Steven Kucinski is investigating.

Jean Caton (40, New Hope PA) was charged with Criminal Mischief by Patrolman Wurpel.
Monday, August 7, 2017, Patrolman Wurpel responded to North Union Street for a motor vehicle crash. During the course of his investigation, it was determined that Jean Caton purposely kicked the other vehicle involved in the crash, causing damage to the other vehicle’s door. Caton was issued a Summons with a mandatory court appearance in Municipal Court.

Tuesday, August 8, 2017, Lambertville Fine Food and Flowers reported that sometime between the hours of 3:00am and 5:00 am, a bag of bread and bagels were stolen from in front of their business. Lt. Brown is investigating the theft. Any persons with information is asked to contact Lambertville Police Department.

Barbara Murphy, 47, was arrested on August 23, 2017 at 0014 hours for having an outstanding warrant out of Lawrenceville Twp. totaling $120.00.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Route 29 and Weeden Street stop for speeding, Lt. Brown placed Barbara Murphy under arrest for having an outstanding warrant out of Lawrenceville Twp. totaling $120.00. Murphy was released after posting the bail in full.

Donald Becker, 59, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on August 25, 2017 at 2051 hours after being stopped for speeding.
Sgt. Gramlich was on routine patrol conducting radar enforcement on Old York Road at the intersection of Route 179. Sgt. Gramlich observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a motor vehicle stop with this vehicle. The driver, Donald Becker was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. Becker was issued several motor vehicle summonses and was released.

Kyle Scott, 21, was arrested on August 26, 2017 at 2147 hours for being in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lt. Brown was on routine patrol on Route 165, when he observed a vehicle traveling north with the passenger side headlight out. Lt. Brown conducted a motor vehicle stop with this vehicle. During the motor vehicle stop, Lt. Brown could detect a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The driver, Kyle Scott, was subsequently arrested for being in possession of drug paraphernalia. Scott was released at the scene but was charged with being in possession of drug paraphernalia and maintenance of lamps.

Christopher Dane, 58, was arrested on August 27, 2017 at 0003 hours for driving while intoxicated.
While on routine patrol, Lt. Brown observed the accused, Christopher Dane, urinating in public while standing next to his vehicle. Further investigation lead to Dane being placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Dane was later released to a friend after being issued several motor vehicle summonses along with a special complaint summons for urinating in public.

CASE #17006426

On July 30, 2017 at approximately 0300 hours, Officer Matthew Bast was conducting a property check along the towpath.

He observed two vehicles were parked next to the Sewerage Authority, no occupants.  The State Park is closed after dark.  The officer proceeded south and walked out onto the wing dam on the Delaware River. 

Two individuals were huddled together, under a blanket.  CDS and paraphernalia were observed alongside them in plain view.

Jhon Mesa, 21 YOA of Elizabeth, NJ was arrested and transported to headquarters. Mesa was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50g) and possession of paraphernalia.  Mesa was ROR’d pending court.
