Metered Parking on Streets
Metered parking is in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sundays. Meters are located throughout the City’s Central Business District. Meter fees are $.25 per quarter hour. All meters accept coins and payment via the ParkMobile smartphone application. Learn more about the parking application at ParkMobile.
Metered Parking in City Lots
Municipal metered lots are located at the following locations:
- Lambertville Free Public Library on Lilly Street
- Wells Fargo Banking Center at the intersection of Bridge and South Union Streets,
- North Union Street Lot on North Union between Bridge and Church Streets
- Philip L. Pittore Justice Center on South Union Street between Ferry and Swan Streets
Parking on Residential Streets
Most of the streets in the residential zones of Lambertville are meter-free and do not incur time-limited parking, though we ask visitors to please be courteous when parking and to only take up as much space as necessary, as parking can be tight at busy periods.
Residential Permit Parking
Available to residents who live on streets with parking meters who do not have off-street parking options. The permit allows the holder to park at meters on their street, without feeding them. The permit does not guarantee a parking space.
Parking Meters - Holidays
In accordance with Lambertville City Code, 8-20, Exception for Certain Holidays, the following dates meters are free:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter
- Memorial Day
- July 4
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- December 17-December 25
