The Planning Board has jurisdiction over all land-use proposals which include site plans, subdivisions, major development reviews, and conditional uses of properties within the City. The Board is responsible for creating and maintaining the City’s Master Plan for development. It is charged with creating and recommending to the Mayor and Council land use ordinances consistent with the vision of the Master Plan. The Board also provides review and counsels the Mayor and City Council on proposed changes in City land use ordinances
