A sewing machine and several custom made pieces of clothing were reported stolen on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at approximately 2018 hours.
Several home sewing goods, including a Singer Sewing Machine, 5 Custom made Hand-Bags, 5 Custom made men’s “Newsboy Hats,” and 5 custom made children’s “Sun Hats,” were reported stolen from the curb in the area of York Street. Case #17005747:
Michael D. Malka, 26, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Monday, July 3, 2017 at approximately 0844 hours for Harassment, Eluding, and an outstanding Fugitive Warrant.
On the above date, patrol responded to the area of South Union Street and Bridge Street for a stalking complaint. While canvassing the area, Lt. Brown identified a Malka as matching the description provided by the complainant. Lt. Brown approached Malka, at which point Malka fled on foot. After a foot pursuit, and subsequent to investigation, Malka was arrested for Harassment and Attempting to Elude Police. Additionally, Malka was found to have an outstanding Fugitive from Justice warrant out of the Bucks County Sherriff Department. Malka was transported to headquarters and processed for the arrest. Malka was later lodged awaiting a hearing for extradition.
Case #17005857:
Mark G. Higgins, 59, of Lambertville, New Jersey, was arrested on Friday, July 7, 2017 at approximately 1558 hours for an outstanding Fugitive Warrant.
On the above date, Sgt. Memolo received an anonymous report of a wanted person located in the area of George Street. The caller identified the person as Mark G. Higgins. Sgt. Memolo made contact with Higgins and confirmed the NCIC warrant was issued out of the New Hope Police Department. Higgins was transported to headquarters and processed for the arrest. Higgins was later lodged awaiting a hearing for extradition.
Case #17005873:
Steven L. Peterson, 26, of Trenton, New Jersey, was arrested on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at approximately 02:13 hours for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and driving while suspended.
On the above date, while on patrol, Sgt. Gramlich conducted a random inquiry on Peterson vehicle registration. The inquiry revealed the registered owner, Peterson to have a suspended driver’s license. Sgt. Gramlich stopped Peterson’s vehicle in the area of Bridge Street and McCreedy’s Alley. Subsequent to investigation Peterson was found to be in possession of a marijuana joint as well as having a suspended driver’s license. Peterson was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters. Peterson was processed for arrest and released with a pending court date.

A box of pictures and frames were reported stolen from the front of a residence on Monday, July 10, 2017.
A resident in the area of North Union Street reported the theft of a box containing pictures and frames from the front of her residence. Anyone who has any information on the items, or has the items in their possession, is encouraged to contact this agency at (609) 397-3132.
