Wednesday, November 07, 2018. On this date at approximately 6:35AM, City Police were detailed to a residence located on the 100 block of North Main Street for a report of a bicycle theft. The victim reported hearing some strange noises outside of her residence during the night-time hours. The next morning the victim discovered her bicycle missing from the side of the residence. The bicycle is described as a vintage Raleigh Road Bike with a black wire basket on the front. PTL. Weber is investigating. Please contact City Police if the bike is observed or located.

Thursday, November 08, 2018. On this date at approximately 5:20PM City Police were detailed to the area of Ely Field for a report of a 9-1-1 cellular telephone call that was dropped prior to information being obtained. A GPS check put the call in the area of Ely Field. Once police arrived on scene, the incident was located in the area of North Franklin Street and Delevan Street. During the investigation the suspect Esteban Ayala Martinez, a 35 year old male from Tahoe Street in New Hope PA, was found to have assaulted a friend and to be Driving While Intoxicated. Martinez was arrested and transported back to Police Headquarters where he was processed. Martinez was charged with Simple Assault, DUI, Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test, Reckless Driving, and Being an Unlicensed Driver. Martinez was released to a friend and given a court date of November 15, 2018 at 5:00PM. SGT. Gramlich and PTL. Weber are investigating.

A random license inquiry was performed, which revealed the owner had a suspended driver’s license. The male, Jason Koribanics, 29 YOA of Ewing, NJ was found to have a suspended driver’s license as was the passenger, Rebecca Schaefer, 30 YOA of Lambertville. Schaefer also had a warrant for Shoplifting for $250 out of Hamilton Township, NJ.
Upon posting bail, Schaefer was released to a friend.

Friday, August 24, 2018. On this date, at approximately 7:00AM, PTL. Wurpel was detailed to a residence on Perry Street for a report of a stolen bicycle. The bicycle was described as a black and grey Diamondback mountain bike. The bicycle was stolen from the exterior of the residence between the hours of 10:00PM on August 23 and 7:00AM August 24 when it was discovered missing.

Saturday, September 29, 2018. On this date, at approximately 12:30AM, PTL. Bast conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2013 Kia that was speeding (44 MPH in a 25 MPH Zone) on County Route 518. The driver was identified as Christopher Lozak a 26 year old male from Colonial Court in Skillman NJ. During the stop, PTL. Bast determined that Lozak was under the influence of alcohol. Lozak was arrested and processed for the arrest. During the stop, PTL. Bast also found drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana located in the vehicle. Lozak was charged with; Driving Under the Influence, Speeding, Possession of an Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in a Motor Vehicle. Lozak was released to a friend and given a court date of October 04, 2018.

On Monday, August 20, 2018 DET. Albani was detailed to the Lambertville New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad, located at 70 Alexander Avenue, for a report of criminal mischief. It was discovered that a subject(s) vandalized the 9/11 memorial in the rear of the building. At this time there are no suspects and anyone with information can anonymously contact DET. Albani.
