Dear Residents and Neighbors:

There has been a potential exposure to COVID-19 in our Public Works Department. None of our employees are currently symptomatic.

Out of an abundance of caution each of the potentially exposed DPW members will be self-quarantining pursuant to public health recommendations. Due to this precaution, we will have limited DPW staff for the rest of the week. The Garbage and Recycling Schedule is being amended as follows:

     Garbage Collection schedule will remain the same through this week.
     Recycling Collection will not be picked up this week, however will resume the week of November 2, pending on the outcome of the COVID tests.

The City is taking every precaution to guarantee public safety and the safety of our employees. This is a precautionary measure and we are taking this seriously by taking actions in the interest of safety.
