Sunday, May 31, 2020, at approximately 7:55PM, police were detailed to the Lambertville Free Public Library for a report of a possible burglary.  Police observed a freshly broken window where forcible entry was made.  While checking the building, Michael Sailer, a 29 Y/O male from Sandy Ridge Mt Airy Road in Stockton NJ was located inside the building.  Sailer was also in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Sailer was taken into custody and charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Sailer was processed for the arrest and transported to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department to later be transported to the Warren County Jail for lodging.  PTL Wurpel and SGT Memolo are continuing the investigation.

Tuesday, June 09, 2020, at approximately 5:30PM, police were contacted by the owner of Foxy Reds, located at 32 Bridge Street, in reference to a theft.  Security camera footage shows a female with blond hair, walking a black dog remove a delivery package from within the front of the business, which was closed at the time.  The package contained $900.00 worth of custom face masks.  DET. Albani is continuing the investigation.

Sunday, June 21, 2020, at approximately 4:50PM, police responded to 45 Bridge Street, Rienboth and CO, for a report of an assault that had occurred 10 minutes in the past and the suspect had already fled the scene.  The employee was inside of the store when a teenaged male entered. The male became angry and shouted at the victim.  The male then picked up a glass wrapped candle and threw it at the victim causing minor injury to the victim. The male then left the store in an unknown direction.  DET. Albani is continuing the investigation as a Bias Crime.
