Saturday, April 25, 2020, at approximately 2:30PM, LT. R. Brown observed 3 individuals by-pass 3 separate “Police Line Do Not Cross” barriers indicating that the state parks were closed as per executive order signed by NJ Governor Phil Murphy.

Ronald Kurceba Jr, a 58 year old male from Daystar Drive in Doylestown PA.

Darryl R. Nixon Jr. a 37 year old male from North Charlotte Street in Pottstown NJ.

Christopher D Colella a 48 year old male from Sandybrook Drive in Langhorne PA.

  1. R. Brown charged all three individuals with Failure to obey a lawful order as well as violating the State of NJ Executive Order.

Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at approximately 8:40PM, the owner of Giuseppe’s Pizza, located at 40 Bridge Street, reported a theft.  Sometime between 6:00AM and 7:00AM the restaurants’ bread delivery was taken from the front stoop.  The value of the break taken is approximately $50.  SGT. M. Gramlich is investigating.

Tuesday, May 05, 2020 at approximately 2:00PM a resident on Weeden Street reported the theft of outside garden decorations.  One was described as a small frog statue and the other a bovine skull.  Both items were taken sometime during the nighttime hours of April 02, 2020.  The total value of the items is approximately $150.00.  PTL. J. Weber is investigating.

As of May 6, 2020, The Lambertville City Police Department has charged 16 individuals with violating or disobeying the Governor’s Executive Order on COVID.

The City of Lambertville Police Department has been conducting high visibility patrols in various locations, including the parks and the D&R Canal Path to assist individuals and remind them of the various Executive Orders put in place by NJ Governor Murphy.  The Lambertville Police would like to remind everyone to practice 6 foot social distancing while walking/biking/jogging as well as the requirement to wear a mask while inside public buildings and when the 6 foot social distancing is not possible; such as on a narrow sidewalk or the Tow Path.
