On May 24, 2019 PTL. Clark investigated the theft of a package that was delivered to the Heritage Village Apartments, located on Brunswick Avenue.  The victim stated that she was advised her package had arrived; however, when she went to retrieve the item it was no longer in the mail area.  Investigation revealed that Regina Weir, a 60-year-old female from Brunswick Avenue, had taken the package.  PTL Clark issued Weir a summons for Theft of Movable Property.  Weir was given a court date of July 17, 2019 at 1:00PM.

CASE #19005470
On Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at approximately 4:50 PM, DET. Bast conducted a motor vehicle stop on Liliann Kraus, an 18-year-old female from Hoover Drive in Mays Landing NJ, for speeding.  Kraus was found to have an active traffic warrant issued by Mullica Hill Municipal Court in the amount of $250.00.  Kraus was escorted back to Police Headquarters were she was processed for the arrest.  Kraus was issued motor vehicle summons for Speeding, and Failure to produce proof of vehicle registration.  Kraus was able to post the $250.00 bail and was released.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at approximately 1:30AM, SGT. Memolo investigated a suspicious vehicle located behind 25 South Union Street.  The male occupant, David Miller, a 39 year old male from Easton Road in Ottsville PA, was found to have an active traffic warrant with a $2000.00 bail issued by the Delaware Valley Joint Court.  Miller was taken into custody and transported back to Police Headquarters were he was processed for the arrest.  Miller was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at approximately 2:50AM, Sgt. Memolo responded to State Highway 179 for a reported possible intoxicated male causing an issue on Bridge Street.  Upon investigating the incident, Sgt. Memolo caught the male, Mark Walczak, 24, in the act of going through items of a resident’s unlocked vehicle on Route 179.   Walczak was unknown to the resident.  Walczak was arrested and charged with Defiant Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct.  He was later released with a pending court date.
