On Friday, July 27, 2018 City Police were detailed to a residence on South Franklin Street for a burglary of a vehicle.  The victim reported that her 2000 Toyota Camry had been entered into sometime during the night time or early morning hours.  The unknown subject(s) entered her unlocked vehicle while parked in the driveway.  Proceeds include money and personal items.  City Police are investigating.

On Friday, July 27, 2018 City Police responded to a residence on Lincoln Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle theft.  The victims stated that sometime during the night or early morning hours, his 2011 Nissan Pathfinder was taken while parked in his driveway.  Police are investigating

On Friday, July 27, 2018 City Police responded to a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle.  The victim advised police that sometime during the night or early morning hours, her 2000 Toyota Camry was entered into.  The vehicle was entered by unknown subject(s) while parked in the driveway.  The victim reported that various loose change had been taken from within the vehicle.  City Police are investigating.

On Friday, July 27, 2018 City Police responded to Douglas Street for a report of a burglary to a vehicle.  The victim advised police that her 2016 Toyota Camry had been entered into by unknown subject(s) while parked in her driveway.  Proceeds of the burglary include personal items and lose change.

CASE #18006100
On Friday, July 27, 2018 City Police responded to S Franklin Street for a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle.  The victim advised that her, locked, Ford Explorer had been broken into.  Her car handle was broken and the plastic piece around the lock cylinder was broken off; which she found in her driveway.  Nothing appears to have been taken.


*During the month of July, City Police took 18 reports of vehicles being entered into and vehicles that have been stolen.

** All residents are urged to make sure their vehicles are locked and no valuables have been left behind when parked or otherwise unattended.
