Wednesday January 10th 2018 at approximately 09:32 hours, Police were dispatched to Route 29 (Main Street) near the intersection of York Street, for a Pedestrian motor vehicle crash. Police responded and rendered aid to the pedestrian until EMS arrived. The investigation, led by Sergeant Memolo, revealed that the pedestrian, Anna (Carol) Storr (Age 76, Lambertville NJ) was walking East across Main Street in the marked crosswalk, with her dog. The driver, Dylan Heath (Age 23, Lambertville NJ) was turning left from York Street onto Main Street heading South, in his 2010 Ford F-150 truck, and failed to yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk. Storr was transported to Capital Health hospital in Trenton, with apparent non-life threatening injuries. Heath was charged with Failure to Yield to Pedestrian in a marked crosswalk, and Careless Driving. Heath was released with a court date.

Thursday January 11th, 2018 at approximately 19:10 hours, Mercer County Corrections contacted this agency with a female inmate, Elizabeth Martini (age 55, Lawrenceville NJ), who had an outstanding traffic warrant for Driving While Suspended, and Failure to Appear in court. Her bail was placed at $750 by the Honorable Judge Ronald Pittore. Martini was taken into custody by Patrolman Bast and transported back to Lambertville Police Headquarters, where she was able to post bail. Martini was released from custody with a new court date.
