ALL INDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

Case #17010037

On Tuesday, November 28th at approximately 0812 hours, Detective Vincent Albani was dispatched to 97 North Main Street for a report of a suspicious male that had entered the residence. The resident reported that between 0315 and 0330 hours, an unknown white slender male, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, wearing baggy clothing, had entered into the front unlocked door. When the resident inquired as to what he was doing, the male advised he was looking for a person that did not reside at the residence. Once the resident advised the male that the person they were looking for did not reside there, the male left without incident. The unknown male was reported to have been intoxicated at the time. The investigation revealed no signs of other criminal activity.

Case #17010050

On Tuesday, November 28th at approximately 2033 hours, Sergeant Michael Gramlich was dispatched to Heritage Village apartment complex, for a report of a theft of jewelry from apartment 317.  The victim reported an unknown person(s) had entered her apartment on Monday November 27th between 1615 and 1730 hours. During this time, a gold wedding band and a gold necklace with a cross were removed from her jewelry box in her bedroom.

The theft is still under investigation. Anyone with any information regarding this theft are encouraged to contact the Lambertville Police.

Case #17010107

On Thursday, November 30th at approximately 1948 hours, a detached garage located on and at the rear of 52 Buttonwood Street was found to be on fire. Patrolman Bast observed the structure to be fully engulfed in flames. The structure was unoccupied at the time. With the assistance of Sergeant Memolo, surrounding residents were evacuated safely from their homes.

Lambertville Fire Department arrived soon after and extinguished the fire. The fire was contained to where there was only damage to the structure and immediate area surrounding the structure, which included a swingset and unoccupied parked car along side of the garage. No one was injured.

The fire is still under investigation. Anyone with any information are encouraged to contact the Lambertville Police or the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law
