On March 27, 2020 NJ Dept of Human Services announced that New Jerseyans who receive food assistance through the NJ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will receive extra benefits on Sunday March 29, 2020 and their benefits will be higher in April to help address critical food needs related to  the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City has pushed this message out to local organizations, churches, food banks, etc… in an effort to ensure that all residents and food assistance programs are made aware.  If you know of any organization or person(s) to whom this would be beneficial, please provide this information or refer them to our Facebook page or the link below.
